Holiday Homecoming was a sweet holiday read. From the beginning, I was captivated by the story of Connor Donnelly and Natalie Delacroix. Natalie returns home after making some terrible mistakes. She knows that Jesus has forgiven her, but she is unsure how others will view her, especially Connor who is the pastor at the local church.
I could identify with Natalie. The people we care most about are often the ones who withhold forgiveness longer. It's understandable, but it doesn't hurt any less. That's one of the reasons I enjoyed this story. Stories about redemption capture my heart. And since this takes place during the Christmas season, it was even more apt.
Ms. Gordon did beautifully showing how a person has to submit their plans to God and trust His plan for our lives. If you're looking for a read that will warm your heart for the holidays, look no further.
