I'm kicking off the week with a review of Terri Blackstock's If I'm Found. It is Book in the If I Run series. To see my review of book 1, go here. Have you read it? If not, be sure to move it to #1 in your TBR pile!
About the Book
Casey Cox is still on the run, fleeing prosecution for a murder she didn’t commit. Dylan Roberts—her most relentless pursuer—is still on her trail, but his secret emails insist that he knows the truth and wants to help her. He’s let her escape before when he had her in his grasp, but trust doesn’t come easily.
As Casey works to collect evidence about the real murderers, she stumbles on another unbearable injustice: an abused child and a suicidal man who’s also been falsely accused. Casey risks her own safety to right this wrong and protect the little girl from her tormentors. But doing so is risky and just may result in her capture—and if she’s captured, she has no doubt she’ll be murdered before she ever steps foot in a jail.
In this riveting sequel to the USA Today bestseller If I Run, evil lurks, drawing Casey out of the shadows . . . but there is light shining in the darkness. Is Dylan a provision from the God who loves her, or another heartache yet to happen?"

Casey runs, making sure her tracks are covered so that she won't be found. She makes friends, lives a relatively normal life all things considering. And it's enough to tear you apart with tension!
I loved getting to learn about Dylan more this go around. He's definitely inching his way up as one of my favorite heroes. Plus, the romance factor kicked in and I loved it!
This book had me biting my nails, sighing with happiness, and crying in shock. Ms. Blackstock made me experience all the emotions necessary in a romantic suspense. I cannot WAIT until book 3 comes out.
* I give this a 5 out of 5!
**I received an ARC through Netgalley. This review is my own, honest opinion.
About the Author
In 1994 Terri was writing romance novels under two pseudonyms for publishers such as HarperCollins, Harlequin, Dell and Silhouette, when a spiritual awakening prompted her to switch gears. At the time, she was reading more suspense than romance, and felt drawn to write thrillers about ordinary people in grave danger. Her newly awakened faith wove its way into the tapestry of her suspense novels, offering hope instead of despair. Her goal is to entertain with page-turning plots while challenging her readers. She hopes to remind them that they’re not alone, and that their trials have a purpose.
Terri has appeared on national television programs such as “The 700 Club” and “Home Life,” and has been a guest on numerous radio programs across the country. The story of her personal journey appears in books such as Touched By the Savior by Mike Yorkey, True Stories of Answered Prayer by Mike Nappa, Faces of Faith by John Hanna, and I Saw Him In Your Eyes by Ace Collins.
“Blackstock is absolutely masterful at bringing spiritual dilemmas to the surface and allowing readers to wrestle with them alongside her characters.” Romantic Times, Melissa Parcel
