I write contemporary fiction, set in the South, about friendships and family relationships, viewed through a dose of humor and always surrounded by food. That's Southern life.
2. The blurb for Home to Chapel Springs captured my attention right away and it sounds like an awesome read. What’s the message that you want readers to come away with?
God is faithful with your dreams.
3. Do you have any personal experiences that helped you in writing this novel?
I do indeed. I have my own adoption reunion story, which inspired this book. Your readers can read mine HERE. (Psst, Toni here. You have GOT to read her story.)
4. What is your favorite aspect of the writing process?
Believe it or not, it's the beginning and the end or research and editing. The first draft is hard for me. But I love research and character development.
5. Do you have any future releases coming to the book world soon? If so, can you tell us about it?
I don't have a date yet, but I'm close to turning in the final book in the Chapel Springs series, Life in Chapel Springs. I don't have the back cover blurb yet, but the book explores these issues:
What would it be like to wake up and not recognize yourself?
Gold fever hits Chapel Springs.
Claire Bennett is dealing with a health crisis.
